Fel’s Bio
Fel is the Lead Pastor at GracePointe Community Church, a new church plant launched in Lee’s Summit, MO. Fel and his family left the Philippines during martial law to find refuge in the United States. The oldest of five boys, Fel grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Northeast High School. He earned his B.A. degree from Central Bible College, and a M.A. in New Testament Greek and a Master of Divinity from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. He just finished his dissertation titled, The Branding of the Holy Spirit: A Lukan Model for a Transformative Spirituality, for his Doctor of Ministry degree at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California and will graduate on June 10, 2011.
Fel is passionate about the work of the Spirit in the lives of Christ’s followers. He believes that the empowering presence of the Spirit brands Christ’s followers to the mission and identity of Christ. As Christ’s followers, we engage our world and culture through the work of the Spirit in our lives. A model of spirituality for the 21st century is rooted in the work of the Spirit–a journey of discovery in grace!
Fel is married to Dianna and they have two boys, Abram and Torrance.
