life’s disappointments…
It has been several days since I heard the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God speak at the opening session of the 53rd General Council in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Wood spoke on the theme of “Your Life–Your Legacy” and used the life of Leah as his foundation. I’m sure many of us are not as familiar to her life story as you are with her sister, Rachel. Here’s her description:
All we know of Leah is found in this one sentence. On the other hand, Rachel is describe as having a lovely form and beautiful. Leah’s description juxtapose to Rachel’s is very disappointing! Don’t you agree? All you know about Leah is her weak eyes…apparently, something is not working properly with Leah’s eyes, so the Bible points out this infirmity!
